Welcome to our homepage.

This website is part of an effort by the Hollywoodland Homeowners Association to increase communication with residents of upper Beachwood Canyon, and, especially, with our members. Our goal is to let you know about our own activities as well as about issues and events that affect residents of our neighborhood. In addition to our newsletter, Village Bulletin Board, and annual meeting, we will try to let you know about current events and issues as they happen by email. We hope everyone who lives in Hollywoodland, even if not yet a member, will give us a current email address so that we can keep in touch with you.

Here are some of the tasks to which we have dedicated ourselves this year.

• We are initiating a campaign to restore and maintain all of Hollywoodland’s Historic-Cultural Monuments. You may have already seen some of the results of that effort at our “switchback” walls. This is only the beginning of a very large, very long, very expensive task. We hope you will support this campaign with your donations by either sending us a check or donating via our website.
• We intend to continue our efforts to see that all of Hollywoodland’s streets are repaved.
• We have re-dedicated ourselves to the support our Specific Plan by showing support for our DRB, encouraging compliance by community members and enlisting our council office to follow suit.
• We will endeavor to bring you our most popular special events both to foster community spirit as well as raise much needed funds.
• We will continue to aid and educate you in the area of Emergency Preparedness. We can never forget that we live in an area that is very vulnerable to both natural and man-made disasters.
• And finally – we will do our best to keep the lines of communication open with you via our newsletter and our website. We hope that you will not hesitate to relay your comments or questions by either writing an article or op-ed for our newsletter or sending us an e-mail. I can assure you…we will reply.

And if you aren't convinced yet, please revisit this website often, and give us your email address (we will never share it with anyone, except what is necessary for us to send you our own communications).
