Hollywoodland Specific Plan
and Design Review Board

The Hollywoodland Specific Plan is a City ordinance established in 1992 for the purpose of preserving the beauty and character of our area.

To read the Specific Plan, download a copy of the Hollywoodland Specific Plan here. (You will need the Adobe Acrobat Reader to download the document. You can download the Adobe Acrobat Reader here.)

The Hollywoodland Design Review Board is in no way affiliated with the Hollywoodland Homeowners Association. The DRB is comprised of volunteer professionals appointed by our council office.

The Hollywoodland Design Review Board is scheduled to meet every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month at 6PM at The Village Coffee Shop. However, if there are no projects ready for public presentation or informal consultations scheduled, the meeting will be cancelled. You may find hearing notices posted at the Department of City Planning website: http://cityplanning.lacity.org/. Click on "Meetings & Hearings", "Central Los Angeles", "Agendas". If you don't see one for the Hollywoodland DRB - it means there isn't one scheduled!

If you have general questions about our Specific Plan, please contact Tony Castanares, the Chairperson of the Design Review Board at tcastanares@stutman.com or the Los Angeles Department of Planning DRB representative, Jason Chan at Jason.Chan@lacity.org or call at 213-978-3307.

If you have any questions, concerns or comments regarding
specific projects pending before the Design Review Board – you must direct all correspondence to the Los Angeles Department of Planning DRB representative, Jason Chan.
