Advocating for Our Community
A major focus remains California Senate Bill (SB) 79.
This bill, authored by Senator Scott Wiener, has passed both the California Senate and Assembly and is now heading to Governor Gavin Newsom’s desk for signature or veto by October 12, 2025.
We are deeply grateful to the team advocating for amendments that protect Hollywoodland’s single-family zoning against pressures to increase density near transit hubs.
How you can help:
Write in to add your voice, or contact us to add your name to letters HHA will be sending to Governor Newsom by the end of September.
