Where We Built, How We Rebuild: Land Use in a Fire-Prone California

Join UCLA's Sustainable LA Grand Challenge for a free online panel discussion examining how California's land-use decisions have shaped wildfire risks—and how communities can plan and rebuild more safely.

Hear from experts in law, urban planning, landscape architecture and community resilience as they explore development in fire-prone areas, post-fire rebuilding and the future of existing neighborhoods.

The discussion is particularly relevant to Hollywoodland, where hillside development, narrow roads and emergency access remain important neighborhood concerns.

Free admission. Advance registration required.
